Sweet Day At Grafton Senior Center Ice Cream Social

GRAFTON, MA – State senator Michael Moore, a Democrat from Millbury, recently sponsored an ice cream social at the Grafton Senior Center. In an effort to stay cool from the scorching June heat, many local seniors stopped by to enjoy ice cream and conversation at the free annual event.

"I always enjoy sponsoring this event each year," Moore said. "It’s great to sit down with folks to get the scoop about what issues are most important to them. It’s also an opportunity to give back to residents who have spent a lifetime contributing to our community."

The Grafton Senior Center, located at 30 Providence Road, is open to residents age 60 or older and provides activities such as lunches, social and special events, exercise classes, health screenings, help with transportation, day trips and more.
