Thousands Without Power in Grafton

More than a third of the homes lost power in Grafton on Friday as a snowstorm caused outages across the state.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Thousands lost power in Grafton Friday morning during a snowstorm.

There were 3,008 Grafton customers without power as of 1:10 p.m. according to National Grid’s outage map.The number marks more than a third of the customers in Grafton, which totals 8,151.

The outages happened as a snowstorm dropped about a half-foot of snow on the region. The snow is expected to continue through Friday afternoon.

National Grid has not estimated a restore time, and is “assessing the situation.”
