Town Of Grafton: Notice Of Public Hearing - Grafton And Upton Rail Road

The Select Board will be holding a public hearing on September 9, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room A of the Municipal Center to obtain input regarding the Grafton and Upton Rail Road (GURR) facility and its operations. This input will be summarized and provided to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for consideration in the pre-filing settlement negotiation with the GURR to resolve alleged violations of the Clean Air Act's chemical accident prevention regulations at the company's propan terminal in North Grafton.

Remote participation will be available via Zoom. The Zoom link and all relevant access information will be posted on the Meeting Agenda for September 9th. The Board will also accept written comment if it is received by the Select Board Office by the close of business on September 7, 2021. Written comment can be submitted to taoffice@grafton-ma.gov, or via mail to 30 Providence Road, Grafton, MA 01519.
