
A vehicle struck a pedestrian and then a utility pole on Providence Road in South Grafton this morning, Police Chief Normand Crepeau said today.
Alert Ambulance took the victim to the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Crepeau said.
The vehicle was heading north on Providence Road around 6:30 a.m. when it left the pavement about 100 feet north of Keith Hill Road, he said.

An accident reconstruction team is at the accident site, Crepeau said.
