WSCMMOTA Topic Based Discussions for Parents of Multiples

Parenting Multiples Topics include: sleep, postpartum depression, sensory integration, meditation, and volunteering with WSCMMOTA.

West Suburban Chapter Massachusetts Mothers of Twins Association (WSCMMOTA) General Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month beginning at 7pm. This meeting will be St. George Parish in Framingham. We will begin our meeting with topic based discussion rooms. Topics include: sleep, postpartum depression, sensory integration, meditation, and volunteering with WSCMMOTA.

1. Teresa Marie Stewart- Has a Masters in child development and MPH in Maternal & Child Health. She is an infant-toddler sleep consultant who will be talking about important factors in establishing good sleep health with infants/children.
2. Laurie Ganberg, LICSW, CLC- Is a psychotherapist from Postpartum Support International who will be speaking on postpartum depression.
3. Emmanuelle Langlais Flagg OTR/L- Is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist who will be speaking about sensory integration-how our bodies process sensory information and when it starts to negatively impact your child’s daily activities.
4. Liz Law- will be talking about meditation/relaxation and will lead a guided meditation exercise.
5. Christine Rehlander- The club’s current Vice President and next year’s club President will be talking about ways to get more involved and volunteering for the club.

Afterwards, we will hold a brief business meeting followed by our community outreach event. The club will be collecting new or gently stuffed animals for the Ashland Food Pantry and new coloring books for Project Smile. Our Hospitality Committee will be providing food for the club’s enjoyment. Feel free to bring a dessert to share.
