• New Emergency Facility Opening in Groton (iheart.com) — A new UMass Memorial emergency facility in Groton is set to open in February, restoring 24/7 local emergency care for adults and children after Nashoba Valley Medical Center's closure. With 16 rooms, lab testing, imaging, and a helipad, it's designed to serve Groton and surrounding towns, and state leaders say it's a major win for regional healthcare access.
