State announces $56M in Pioneer Valley economic development grants (masslive.com) — Hadley is receiving a $400,000 state grant to design replacement of two drinking water storage tanks, supporting safer water and future housing and business growth along the Route 9 corridor and around Hampshire Mall. The award is part of $56 million in Pioneer Valley economic development grants backing major projects in Springfield, Greenfield, Holyoke, and other communities.

State awards $14.8M for projects in Hampshire County (gazettenet.com) — Hadley will see $460,000 in state funding, including $400,000 toward replacing two drinking water storage tanks and $60,000 for a regional planning initiative, aimed at boosting housing and economic development along Route 9.
