• Halifax Board Approves 3-0 Heavy-Truck Exclusion for Part of Old Plymouth Street (southshore.news subscription) — Halifax residents should know the Select Board has approved a 3-0 heavy-truck exclusion for the western end of Old Plymouth Street, likely redirecting large trucks toward the already-problematic Pine Street intersection. The same meeting also reshaped the local police department, honoring a long-serving sergeant, promoting an officer, and appointing two new patrol officers to the Halifax force.
