At Beverly Bootstraps, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Their generosity, compassion, and dedication make it possible for us to serve our community in meaningful and lasting ways. We are truly grateful for each and every one of them.

April is National Volunteer Month, a dedicated time to recognize the profound impact volunteers have on our organization and community. Throughout the month, and specifically during National Volunteer Week (April 19–25, 2026), we take time to celebrate the time, compassion, and skills our volunteers generously give in support of our mission.

In 2025 alone, volunteers contributed an incredible 16,185 hours of service, representing a value of $679,770. These numbers speak volumes, but they only begin to capture the true impact our volunteers have on the individuals and families we support every day.

Volunteers play an integral role at Beverly Bootstraps, and we depend on them to help us provide the important programs and services we offer. We have both ongoing and project-based volunteer opportunities across several areas, including Education, Youth and Family Programs, Food Assistance, our Thrift Shop, and more. Their efforts ensure that our programs continue to reach those who need them most.

Beyond the impact they make, volunteering with Beverly Bootstraps is also a meaningful experience for those who give their time. It’s an opportunity to give back, build new skills, and connect with others in the community.

If you are looking for a way to give back in a meaningful way, join our incredible community of volunteers at Beverly Bootstraps. We offer a variety of ways to get involved—from ongoing roles to short-term or one-time projects perfect for individuals or small groups.

To all of our volunteers: thank you. Your time, energy, and kindness make a lasting difference, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our community.
