Darlene Wigton, director of the Lexington History Museums Colonial Dancers, will give a brief talk on the history of social dance in the American Colonies. We will be treated to a demonstration of 17th and 18th century English Country Dance, followed by instructions for anyone who would like to join in.
On Sunday afternoon we will briefly review the figures, then enjoy dancing to live period music. Dancers of all skill levels are welcome, as well as spectators. Colonial period dress is encouraged, but not necessary!

Dead to the Core is Sam Bouve (Bass), Sean Galbraith (Guitar), John Spurr (Drums), Phil Todisco (Guitar), and Scotty King (Keys). This collective of North Shore original artists, songwriters, and producers came together in 2020 to honor the timeless catalog of the Grateful Dead with a fresh and innovative approach. Dead to the Core celebrates the Dead’s spirit with inspired playing, infused with unrestrained improvisations, and a real good time. Dead To The Core is The Cut's 2026 Resident Band - they will play a show every month in 2026, culminating with a New Years Eve show on 12/31/26. Our country will be celebrating the conclusion of the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution 1776-2026 as well as the birthday of the United States Army. 
In addition, Military Service Day’s 11th anniversary symbolizes the unwavering support of our donors and volunteers that has been instrumental in creating an event known regionally, nationally, and internationally. 
Join us for a great day at the historic past home of General George S. Patton Jr. and experience the combined support of the U.S. Military, Veteran, Law Enforcement, History and Re-enactor Equipment Community. 
For 2026 the event will present two awards: the Joanne Holbrook Patton Writing Prize for high school and college students and the Dr. Howard E. Stone Jr. Award for Excellence in Veteran Mental Health Treatment.
See speakers, displays, demonstrations, mounted horses, helicopters, operating tanks and equipment!

Captain Jack &amp; The Strangers, comprised of six individuals hailing from Gloucester, MA (45 min north of Boston) with over 30 years experience in music and performance. The band is fronted by 27 year old piano phenom, Jack Favazza, who brings a youthful exuberance to this classic American songbook. This group plays a wide catalogue of music from America's own Piano Man, Billy Joel, spanning his entire musical career from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Playing both well known hits, alongside of b-side fan favorites, there are surely songs to appease any audience member.
With a long standing passion for the music of Billy Joel, the band formed in late 2022, after founding members had seen a performance of Billy at the legendary Fenway Park in Boston, MA during the summer of that same year. That performance solidified the decision to perform Billy Joel's music to as many people as possible. Gloucester has a long history of talented artists, and Captain Jack &amp; The Strangers is no different. A local "supergroup" of musicians from well known acts such as Groove Therapy, The Spynz, Mystery Meat, and the Neon 90's have formed this group to bring you the high energy, soft somber moments, and everything in between that Billy Joel is so well known for. Listening to any song at a show will surely invoke your favorite memories and emotions when you hear a specific Billy Joel song done in a way that only Captain Jack &amp; The Strangers can do.
