Hamilton Firefighter Makes Emergency Landing in Ipswich

An off-duty Hamilton firefighter escaped without injuries Sunday after making an emergency landing in an Ispwich field.

According to WCVB, Hamilton firefighter Raymond Brunet was flying the plane he built over Plum Island when he began experiencing engine trouble. He attempted to make it to Beverly Airport but the engine gave out before then and he was forced to land in an Ipswich field.

Brunet was uninjured in the incident and the plane didn’t sustain any damage.
