Early Members-Only Hours | Face Painting | Member Exhibit Previews

Throughout the month of March, Wenham Museum members are invited to enjoy special members-only events including early morning hours on Fridays, free face painting, and a bring-a-friend day. Museum members enjoy the benefit of free general admission, discounted program fees and, discounts on function rentals throughout the year.

Wenham Museum Member’s Draw Me A Story: Tomie and Friends Exhibit Preview

Friday, March 6; 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Members are invited to be one of the first to tour the museum’s annual children’s book illustrator exhibit Draw Me A Story: Tomie and Friends during new member’s early hours. The exhibit features the original art of Caldecott Medalist Tomie dePaola and fellow illustrators Jesse Watson, Lisa Cinelli, Katia Wish, Elizabeth Wolff and Cyndy Szekeres Prozzo .  Free coffee will be served.

Wenham Museum Member’s Frozen: The Real Story of Ice on Wenham Lake Exhibit Preview

Friday, March 13; 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Slide into spring on a sock-skating rink, dress in costume as Kristoff, Elsa, and Anna and pretend to move “ice” blocks in and out of a child-size ice house while learning about the cool history of ice harvesting in Wenham and New England. Free coffee will be served.

Wenham Museum Member’s FREE Face Painting by Flynntastic Faces

Wednesday, March 18; 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Face painting is a fun way for children to dress up -- no costume required! Kids can choose from a variety of designs or create one of their own with the help of local artist Erin Flynn of Flynntastic Faces. Free coffee will be served.

Wenham Museum Member-Only Early Hours

Fridays, March 6, 13, 20 and 27; 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

The museum will open early exclusively for members throughout the month!

Early Member-only hours are open to all members and their guests as allowed by their level of membership. Members are asked to present their membership card at time of admission. Free coffee will be served.

Wenham Museum Try-It Tuesday

Tuesday, March 24; 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Wenham Museum members are invited to share the galleries with two friends throughout the day.
