Wenham 'Community Compact' Application Approved
Wenham agrees to pursue certain best practices, and the state agrees to offer money and technical assistance to make it happen.

The Town of Wenham has committed to implementing best practices when it comes to citizen engagement and capital planning as part of the state’s Community Compact program.
According to an update provided by Town Administrator Peter Lombardi, the state-sponsored program commits Wenham to working on the above topics, but it also commits the state to providing grant dollars and technical assistance to accomplish the task.
Specifically, according to Lombardi’s update, the grant dollars will allow Wenham to hire a consultant to help assemble a comprehensive capital improvement plan, and the “technical assistance” will be available as Wenham seeks to develop a resident engagement strategy.
