HINGHAM, MA - 12 people will be interviewed for the Hingham assistant superintendent opening.Superintendent Dot Galo told the school committee this week that a total of 50 people applied for the position, with the search committee choosing 12 candidates and three alternates.All 12 candidates will be interviewed by the committee in executive session. Once the finalists are decided, their names will be made public.The screening committee, made up of school committee members; teachers; administrators; and members of the community, are charged with looking at applications and interviewing candidates.
