HINGHAM, MA — "It’s so much more than a $20 bill," Hingham police said, as they recognized the honesty of an 89-year-old woman. The woman found the cash on the ground last week while she was out walking, but instead of pocketing the cash, she turned it in to police.

According to police, the woman refused to pocket the money even if its rightful owner was never found.

"A nice positive story,” Hingham police said in a Facebook post. "She called the police station to turn it in. She said if we couldn’t find the rightful owner, we could just donate it."
