A Look Inside Hingham Shipyard’s Newest Restaurant

South Shore Owners Chris Tocchio and Kristian Deyesso recently opened their  new restaurant Union Fish Seafood & Raw Bar.

Tocchio from Plymouth and Deyesso from Norwell, each have strong local ties and are each excited to now have two restaurants on the South Shore. 

The owners operate the original Union Fish on the Plymouth waterfront, Regal Beagle in Brookline and Church Restaurant and Nightclub in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood.

Tocchio said the developers at the Shipyard reached out to him after they saw Union Fish on the local television program, TV Diner.

“They were looking for a local seafood operator, they didn’t want any big corporate chains,” he said.

The restaurant is currently open for lunch and dinner and had a successful opening day last week. Tocchio said he plans to begin serving brunch in the future.
