Hingham woman scammed out of $56,000 after fake bank fraud call (shrewsburypost.com) — A 43-year-old Hingham woman lost $56,000 after scammers posed as her bank's fraud department and convinced her to wire money into a so-called "safe account." Police say the caller stayed on the phone while she completed the transfer, and she only discovered the fraud hours later when checking with her local branch.
   

3. Notre Dame Academy Announces Partnership With South Shore Ballet Theatre (hinghamanchor.com) — Notre Dame Academy has launched a new partnership with South Shore Ballet Theatre, based in Hingham, to expand dance opportunities for Cuvilly middle school students starting in the 2026–27 year. The collaboration will bring ballet, jazz, modern dance, and dance history into students' schedules, emphasizing creativity, wellness, and cross-curricular learning with experienced professional instructors.
   

4. Child e-bike injuries have skyrocketed across Mass., ER doctors warn (nenc.news) — A serious e-bike collision in Hingham that badly injured 5-year-old Bode Rogers is part of a sharp rise in child e-bike and scooter injuries across Massachusetts. Local doctors and police describe increasingly severe crashes, modified high-speed bikes, and confusing town-by-town rules, while state leaders consider new age and speed limits to improve safety.
