• Apple Store crash that killed a N.J. man is finally heading to a murder trial (nj.com subscription) — Hingham residents are seeing a major step forward in the case stemming from the deadly 2022 Apple Store crash at Derby Street Shops, as a judge has ruled the Hingham driver competent to stand trial on second-degree murder and assault charges. The crash killed a New Jersey construction worker and injured 22 people, with a change-of-venue hearing now scheduled in Plymouth Superior Court.
