HINGHAM, MA — Over the next month, Hingham Public Schools is giving residents a chance to have a say in major building projects by holding three public forums.
The forums are being held in preparation for a special town meeting set for Thursday, Oct. 29.
The first forum will be held in person on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at Hingham High School, 17 Union St. After that, residents can mark their calendars for the next two forums, which will be held via Zoom on Oct. 15 and 21, starting at 7 p.m.
Projects in the works include addressing significant roof and infrastructure needs at three schools in Hingham.
Residents will have a chance to vote on those changes and have a say in how the town moves forward.
While Hingham has six schools, those with the most pressing needs are Hingham High School, Plymouth River Elementary School and South Elementary School.
