HINGHAM, MA — As October winds down, Hingham is inviting residents to make their voices heard at an upcoming special town meeting.
The meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. at Hingham High School, located at 17 Union St.
Residents will have an opportunity to weigh in on three articles concerning potential improvements to South Elementary School and Plymouth River Elementary School.
The articles address funding for essential repairs and infrastructure improvements, including work on the schools' roofs.
Transportation will be available for residents with mobility impairments. Anyone needing a ride can contact the Hingham Center for Active Living at 781-741-1458 by the close of business Tuesday, Oct. 27, to make a reservation.
For residents looking to have a say in the future of their community's schools, the meeting offers an opportunity to get involved in local decision-making.
