Assault, Stuck Ducks, And More: Hingham Police Log

July 8
7:23 p.m. - Linden Pond security told police that they had some ducklings stuck in a sewer line. The ducklings were freed by security.
11:38 a.m. - A caller on Isaac Sprague Drive told police that there was a snake in her backyard and she has never seen anything like it before. Police confirmed that it was bigger than anything seen in the area.

3:11 p.m. - A fight was reported at Stop and Shop on Lincoln Street. One man suffered a broken ankle and another suffered a bloody nose. One person, Gary Driscoll, 62, of Hull, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
8:46 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Linscott Road and Main Street, Kyle Haskins, 28, of Plymouth, was arrested on a warrant.

July 9
12:01 p.m. - Christopher Ayer, 53, of Hingham, was arrested on Old Derby Street on a warrant.
