Back to School at Linden Ponds: Residents Embrace Lifelong Learning This Fall

While students across the region are returning to classrooms this fall, residents at Linden Ponds, an Erickson Senior Living community in Hingham, Mass., are doing the same through the community's popular Lifelong Learning program.

This semester's lineup features a wide range of educational and cultural programs designed to keep residents engaged, connected, and intellectually active. Topics include Civil War history, wildlife conservation in Africa, literature, music, theater, aging, and current social issues.

"One of the things that makes Linden Ponds so special is the incredible depth of talent and experience our residents bring to the community," said Resident Life Director Mairi Bleakie. "The Lifelong Learning program gives residents the opportunity to continue exploring new interests, sharing their expertise, and building connections through education. The excitement around these classes each semester shows that learning truly has no age limit."

Many of the Lifelong Learning courses are taught by residents, reflecting the wealth of knowledge and experience found throughout the community. The program creates opportunities for residents to continue learning while also sharing their own expertise with friends and neighbors.
