Hingham Police Said Threats Not Credible

Both businesses are now open.

HINGHAM, MA — Police have cleared the bomb threats threats at two local businesses and determined the threats were not credible.

Police were at 1 Derby Street and 33 Central Street investigating the threats. Police said the threats were sent via email.

The threats were among a number of bomb threats investigated across Massachusetts by state police. State police confirmed those threats were not credible and sent by bitcoin scammers.

Patch previously reported the threat was at the Derby Street Shops , but was at another store on Derby Street unrelated to the shops.
