Burtons Grill To Serve Seafood Gazpacho at Taste of Hingham

We spoke with Steve Slicis, GM and Debora Jamrok, manager, of about their participation in Taste of Hingahm.

Why does Burtons support the Taste of Hingham?

Debra Jamrok: Burtons is honored to support the Taste of Hingham; we view this as a wonderful opportunity to cater to our dedicated patrons in the town, as well as to ignite interest in potential future guests in the neighboring towns.  We thoroughly enjoy working with the community, and we look forward to participating in events that allow us to give back. We want Hingham to understand our commitment to the community and our desire to be a cohesive force in keeping the businesses of Hingham strong and vibrant.

What is your favorite part about running Burton’s and serving the Hingham community?

Debra Jamrok: Our favorite part about running our business in the Derby Street Shoppes is our ability to connect with all of the devoted residents of Hingham, as well as with those of the surrounding towns. We try to foster a sense of family within the community each and every day. We reach out to every table and get to know our guests on a personal level. In addition to what we do on the inside, we also feel a great sense of pride when we are able to assist in cultural and social events outside the restaurant...events that support our local schools, businesses, and organizations as we work towards one common goal of building community unity and spirit.

Describe the entertainment, events and atmosphere of Burton’s Hingham.

Debra Jamrok: Burtons Grill is an upscale casual restaurant that serves classic American cuisine of the highest quality, while delivering polished, professional service. Our food is fresh, creative and unique. Our guests respect and appreciate our attention to detail when it comes to the quality and consistency of the food that we serve. The atmosphere is comfortable, yet classic, and creates an ambiance that is warm and approachable. It is ideal for anything from business meetings to a romantic evening out. Our decor, music, and lighting provide an atmosphere where our guests feel at home and comfortable, and we believe that all of these specialties make a positive impact on our customers.

What keeps your customers keep coming back?

Debra Jamrok: One of the main reasons I believe our wonderful guests keep coming back is that we strive to deliver a product of impeccable quality. We give our guests a truly memorable dining experience that is warm and welcoming to all. We are in the hospitality business, so we choose to make our mark by creating unique and individualized dining experiences as we delight our guests one table at a time.

You are committed to pleasing guests with dietary restrictions, can you tell us about that?

Debra Jamrok: Burtons looks for unique opportunities to bring a wide variety of patrons into our restaurants. We offer wonderful specialty dinners catering to our gluten free guests, and pay special attention to our guests who suffer from the food allergies and sensitivities that are quickly becoming widespread in our society. A high population of our guests have very restricted diets as a result of their allergies, so we want our clientele to know that we cater to their dietary needs and give them exactly what they desire. And it is all fresh and made to order from our scratch kitchen. We want the community to know that we strive to be the best amidst our competitors by simply delivering the best. We have an amazing gluten free menu that cannot be rivaled, a much desired vegetarian menu, a wonderful based on Michelle Obama's "My Plate" program, and our standard versatile dinner menu with daily mouth-watering features all promoting quality and value to our guests.
