Linden Ponds Senior Living Community

Local small business Wicked Fabulous will join a talented group of artisans at Linden Ponds in Hingham for a special holiday shopping event open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 14.
HINGHAM, MA — Wicked Fabulous, a small, couple-owned business based in Hull, is excited to announce its participation in the Linden Ponds Harvest Fair on Saturday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The special event will welcome members of the public during these hours, offering shoppers an opportunity to discover unique, handcrafted gifts just in time for the holiday season.
Founded in 2020 by Hull residents David and Marc, Wicked Fabulous has grown from a small business into a heartfelt mission centered on love, kindness, and meaningful connections. The business specializes in Reiki-infused natural gemstone bracelets and a thoughtfully curated selection of distinctive jewelry, bringing together beautiful stones, personal intention, and the belief that a small gesture can make a meaningful difference.
"We're absolutely thrilled to be part of the Linden Ponds Harvest Fair," said Dave and Marc, co-founders of Wicked Fabulous. "We love discovering and sharing beautiful pieces that have meaning, and we're especially excited to help people find thoughtful, handcrafted gifts for the holidays. There's something special about shopping directly from small businesses and artisans, meeting the people behind the products, and finding something that feels truly personal."
Wicked Fabulous was born from a desire to create products that inspire joy and self-expression. Over time, Dave and Marc discovered that their business could be about something even more meaningful: creating connections through jewelry and acts of kindness.
Every Wicked Fabulous order includes a complimentary Love Forward bracelet, intended for the customer to give to a complete stranger as a simple gesture of kindness. The initiative reflects the couple's belief that small acts of generosity can create ripples of positivity throughout a community. The business also donates 10% of its profits to organizations supporting LGBTQ+ youth.
At the Harvest Fair, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Wicked Fabulous's collection of natural gemstone bracelets and other distinctive jewelry, making it a wonderful stop for holiday shoppers searching for gifts that are beautiful, meaningful, and a little different from the ordinary.
For Dave and Marc, participating in local events is an opportunity to connect with the community they call home while supporting the spirit of small-business shopping.
"Being based in Hull, we feel fortunate to be part of the South Shore community," they added. "We're passionate about supporting small businesses and bringing a little more love, joy, comfort, and kindness into the world, one connection at a time. We can't wait to meet everyone at the fair!"
The Linden Ponds Harvest Fair will take place on Saturday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Linden Ponds in Hingham. The event is open to the public during these hours only, making it a special opportunity for community members to visit and shop the artisan vendors.
Shoppers are encouraged to stop by, meet the makers, and get a head start on holiday gift shopping while supporting local and independent businesses.

Braintree Mom Launches New Pathway for Young Adults

Dharma Dreams Vocational Center

Dharma Dreams Vocational Center is a nonprofit vocational and life skills program based in Hanover, Massachusetts, serving young adults ages 18–26 with moderate cognitive disabilities. Our mission is to help students build practical job skills in the trades, confidence, independence, emotional regulation, and workplace readiness through hands-on vocational training and supportive learning experiences. The program was created in response to the growing need for meaningful transition opportunities for young adults as they move beyond high school and into adulthood. Many families struggle to find programs that combine practical workforce preparation, life skills development, communication skills, confidence-building, and supportive real-world learning experiences. Dharma Dreams offers hands-on exposure to vocational areas such as landscaping and grounds maintenance, painting and surface preparation, workplace professionalism, entrepreneurship basics, and life skills training. Students also learn mind-body techniques that support focus, confidence, emotional regulation, stress management, and workplace success. Our introductory summer program, launching at the end of July, is designed to help students and families become familiar with the program and explore vocational interests before participating in longer-term programming. Long-term programming focuses on helping students develop greater independence, workplace readiness, responsibility, confidence, and practical trade skills through structured, hands-on learning experiences. Dharma Dreams Vocational Center aims to create supportive pathways toward greater independence, meaningful employment opportunities, and a stronger sense of purpose while helping young adults feel valued, capable, and connected to their future potential.
