Cask ‘n Flagon in Marshfield is gearing up for a four day celebration of our nation’s independence. From July 1-4, the Cask will have a lineup of festive specials and patriotic treats in honor of the Independence Day long weekend including patriotic sips and snacks, catered backyard barbeques, a smoked specialty and a 3rd of July family brunch.
July 1-4: Patriotic Sips & Snacks; Catered BBQs
Throughout the 4th of July weekend, Cask ‘n Flagon will serve up two custom-created teats that showcase the delicious taste of freedom. To sip, there is the American Spirit, a refreshing, patriotic “sparkling” cocktail with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, fresh squeezed lemonade, fresh strawberries and blueberries, topped with sparkling water. For those with a sweet tooth, there is the Freedom Parfait, a red, white and blue dessert special that sees fresh blueberries and strawberries layered with vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream and a raspberry drizzle.

Grill skills not up to par? Fear not, Chef Big D has you covered. Cask ‘n Flagon’s chef Donley Liburd can cater a customized BBQ spread for your own backyard. Whether entertaining a tame group of 25 or feeding a neighborhood of 100, Cask ‘n Flagon offers an array of catering packages designed to please any palate. Take the guesswork out of prepping and grilling and enjoy your own party while indulging in slow-smoked proteins, barbecued delights and homestyle sides.

July 1 & 2: Smoked Prime Rib special
There are only so many backyard BBQs that one can handle, so leave it to the pros. Cask ‘n Flagon’s chef Donley Liburd, an award-winning pitmaster, has created an upscale barbecue option, Smoked Prime Rib, utilizing his custom-designed, 2,600-pound smoker to capture the best tastes of summer this Independence Day weekend: a 14oz cut of prime rib rubbed with Big D’s secret blend of seasonings and slow smoked for three hours, topped with au jus and horseradish sauce and served with potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

July 3: 3rd of July Brunch
Since “Marshvegas” traditionally goes all out on the third of July, the Cask will be serving up a family-friendly brunch buffet to fuel you before the Independence Day festivities. Chef Liburd’s specialties include an omelet and waffle station, a delicious selection of sides including bacon and sausage, crisp home fries, a decadent crème brûlée-stuffed French toast, fried chicken, freshly carved roast turkey and roast beef as well as salads, baked goods, desserts and more.
10:00am-2:00pm. $16.99 per adult; $9.99 per child ages 6-12; kids under-5 eat free with the purchase of an adult brunch.
