Cohasset Crash Leads To Man's Fourth Drunken Driving Charge

After his arrest, the suspect threatened to fight offers and urinated on the floor in "an act of defiance," police said.

COHASSET, MA — A Winthrop man faces his fourth drunken driving charge after police said he crashed a rental car into several trees.

Timothy Wilison, 36, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol (fourth offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a crash after causing property damage, operating a motor vehicle without an interlocking ignition device, marked lanes violations, and defacing property.

On Monday around 7:30 p.m., police were called to North Main Street for a report of a single-car crash. According to Cohasset police, Wilson drove off road, hit several rocks and trees, and then ran from the 2018 Kia SUV he was renting. Hingham police found Wilson a short distance from the crash site, Cohasset police said.
