The Company Theatre’s Special Events Series Presents Cash & Cline: A Tribute to Johnny and Patsy

The Company Theatre's 2017 Special Events series presents Grammy® Award nominee band Cash & Cline: A Tribute to Johnny and Patsy, the nationally recognized blues sensation, on Saturday, January 14 at 4 and 8 pm, at The Company Theatre Centre for the Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell.
American singer/songwriter/activist with the velvety bass voice Johnny Cash is portrayed in concert with one of country/pop music’s greatest and most endearing vocalist tributes, Patsy Cline! Duo Terry Lee Goffee as Johnny Cash and Josie Waverly as Patsy Cline perform both legends greatest hits, from “Ring of Fire”, “I Walk the Line” and “Folsom Prison Blues”, to “Crazy”, “I Fall to Pieces” and “Walking After Midnight.” Two legends, two bands… one stage!
Josie Waverly has performed nationally as a headliner and opening act for many of Nashville’s leading entertainers such as Tim McGraw, Charlie Daniels, Loretta Lynn, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban. As “New York States Queen of Country Music”, she was inducted to the New York state Country Hall of Honor. In 2000 Josie opened her own music hall “Josie’s Country Jukebox” in Spencerport, NY.

Upon being in the audience to Terry Lee Goffee, Johnny Cash’s brother Tommy Cash says “The show is great, my brother would be proud!” A native of Ohio, Goffee was raised in a home where music was always present, often resulting in family bands. Following a successful pursuit as lead singer in a country band in Florida, Goffee came full circle with this tribute show to one of his musical heroes and influences, Johnny Cash.
