The Company Theatre's 2017 Special Events series presents the Irish variety show Dublin’s Irish Cabaret on Saturday, May 6 at 4 and 8 pm, at The Company Theatre Centre for the Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell.
Famed tenor and Carnegie Hall performer Andy Cooney offers an exhilarating and distinctive blend of Irish music, song, laughter and dance in an event designed to please the entire family. Andy Cooney, dubbed “America’s Favorite Irish Son”, is joined by Ireland's funniest comedian Mick Thomas, the Irish Step and Contemporary dance team of Darrah Carr, and the energetic Andy Cooney Band. Come prepared to sing-along and tap your feet!
Christened “Irish America’s Favorite Son” by The New York Times, Andy Cooney made his mark stateside with high critical acclaim as one of “The New York Tenors”. Cooney has recorded 18 albums, including his latest release, “Bright Brand New Day” with Phil Coulter and his Orchestra. Cooney is also recognized for his annual Cruise of Irish Stars that draws more than 1000 Irish and Irish Americans to a Caribbean Cruise enriched with the finest Irish entertainment, including local singing celebrity Ronan Tynan.
