Driver Injured After Crashing Into Hingham Grocery Store: PD

A driver was hospitalized after crashing their pickup truck into Fruit Center Market Place in Hingham.

Emergency crews were called to the Fruit Center Market Place around 5 p.m. Tuesday and said the driver struck a brick wall outside the store before striking the side of the building.

HINGHAM, MA — A driver was rushed to the hospital after crashing their pickup truck into a grocery store, according to police. Emergency crews were called to the Fruit Center Market Place around 5 p.m. Tuesday and said the driver struck a brick wall outside the store before striking the side of the building.

The severity of the driver's injuries were not disclosed. No one else was hurt during the crash, police said. The building inspector was called to evaluate any structural damage to the store.
