Duxbury's Island Creek Oysters Opens Retail Shop

The team from Island Creek Oysters will be making their exquisite product readily available to the South Shore community in a new retail space, set to open today. The team at Island Creek is excited to finally establish their own haven for seafood lovers, built by the people of Duxbury, for the people of Duxbury.  Located at 296 Parks Street in Duxbury, the shop will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 7:00pm.

The Island Creek Oysters retail location will not only sell the freshest and finest of oysters, but also offer razor clams, littleneck clams, and Bill Bennett’s famous cooked shrimp (recipe courtesy of founder, Skip Bennett’s, father) year round.  The store will also feature seasonal offerings including wild sea beans, Nantucket Bay Scallops and various fresh sea creatures.  Oysters will be consistently offered at $1.25 per oyster for a dozen, $60 for a 50-count bag, and $100 for a 100-count bag. Online shoppers will also be able to purchase product online, and pick it up at the shop. Island Creek Oyster’s famous gear will also be available, featuring everything from shucking knives to their t-shirts, which exhibit Island Creek’s risqué oyster-themed banter.
