Artisans in the Square continues to feature one of its artisans the first Friday of each month. The next event is Friday, June 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 63 South St.
Nicole Blanchard, the artisan for June, creates one-of-a-kind, hand-netted jewelry from sea glass and other sea-worn treasures. "The community is invited to come and see her current, full collection of exquisitely detailed necklaces and earrings," Artisans member Sandi Smith said.
Customers are welcome to bring their own sea glass to the event to speak to Nicole about creating custom pieces from their own finds. Refreshments will be served. For further information, call 781-749-2590 or visit www.artisansinthesquare.com.
