
Hammond Residential Real Estate presents a chamber music concert on Sunday, March 18 at 3:00 p. m. at The South Shore Conservatory in Hingham. The concert features Yevgeny Kutik, violin, and Timothy Bozarth, piano.
The program consists of Brahms’ Sonatensatz in C Minor, Schnittke’s Sonata No. 1 for Violin and Piano (1963), Bloch’s Baal Shem Suite, and Brahms’ Sonata No. 3 in D Minor, Op. 108.
The Russian-American artist Yevgeny Kutik is hailed for his dazzling command of the violin and its repertoire, as well as a communicative immediacy that harkens back to the legendary Romantic masters. With the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, Mr. Kutik gave the 2006 world-premiere performance of Ron Ford’s Versus, receiving praise from both The New York Times and The Boston Globe. He has also returned to The Boston Pops, under the baton of Keith Lockhart. Of special note, Mr. Kutik continues his close association wih the United Jewish Federations of North America Speakers Bureau, annually performing throughout the United States to raise awareness and promote the assistance of refugees from around the world, a cause to which he is particularly dedicated.

Since being named a Beethoven Fellow of the American Pianist Associaion, Timothy Bozarrth has concertized around the globe as soloist and collaborative pianist, being head in many o fthe worlds’s greatest concert halls. He has earned music degrees and an Artist Diploma at the Cleveland institute of Music, studying with Paul Schenly. At the Casadesus International Piano Competition, he was awarded the S. A. C. E. M. prize for best performance of a work by a 20th century composer. Mr. Bozarth is an avid collector of Japanese woodblock prints and lives in Brookline, Massachusetts with his wife Miki and daughter Ai.
