Hingham Mothers' Club Festival of Trees

Festival of Trees, one of the highlights of Hingham's Christmas in the Square, is a magical display of decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses generously provided by local businesses and individuals for auction. The silent auction will benefit Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore, and the Hingham Mothers’ Club scholarship Fund.

For a discretionary donation guests are invited to stroll through Old Derby Academy and place bids on the trees, wreathes, and gingerbread houses. Winners will be posted by 8:30pm.

Eight entries will win ribbons in a tree trimming contest and be featured in the Hingham Journal. They will compete in the following categories: Most Beautiful, Most Whimsical, Most Traditional, Best Children’s Theme, Best Wreath, Best Gingerbread House, Best School and Best of The Festival. Winners will be chosen by a special committee and announced at the Treeview Party. There is still time to donate a tree. Visit http://www.hinghammothersclub.org if you would like to do so.
