Radcliffe Choral Society to perform at First Baptist
Church
As a church family, the First Baptist Church of Hingham is
delighted to announce the continuing annual event featuring the Radcliffe
Choral Society, the premier women's chorus of Harvard University, as they
perform before the beginning of the 10:00 am Sunday worship service, September
23.
The Radcliffe Choral Society, founded in 1899, is one of the
most preeminent collegiate women's choirs in the nation. Performing distinctive
literature from the Renaissance to the present, this 60-voice choir tours each
year across the United States and internationally every four years, most
recently to Western Europe, South America, South Africa, and Costa Rica. This
brilliant and accomplished choir is under the direction of Andrew Clark and
Beth Willer.
