Fisher and Phillips LLP Boston Office Announces New Partner

Fisher & Phillips LLP, a leading national labor and employment law firm, announced today that prominent employment law litigator Cheryl B. Pinarchick has joined the firm’s Boston office as a partner. She joins Fisher& Phillips from Murphy & King.

“Cheryl’s experience in both litigation and counseling employers on issues such as litigation avoidance strengthens our ability to handle all aspects of an employment matter for clients based or doing business in New England,” said Joseph W. Pinarchick has extensive trial experience in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Her bar and court admissions include Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the United States District Court in Massachusetts and the United District Court of Appeals, First Circuit. In addition to offering litigation expertise, Pinarchick counsels employers on issues arising out of the employment relationship such as the safeguarding of propriety information. She has conducted audits and trainings concerning wage and hour as well as discrimination issues, investigated discrimination and whistleblower claims, and developed handbooks, policies and procedures. She has also represented employers and executives in all aspects of forming and terminating employment relationships, including the drafting, prosecution and defense of restrictive covenant agreements. Pinarchick’s clients include public and private companies across a wide variety of industries, including financial services, government relations and emergingtechnologies.

Pinarchick is a graduate of Temple University and Syracuse University College of Law. At Temple, she played on the Division 1 1988 undefeated national championship women’s lacrosse team. Her team was inducted into the Temple Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.
