Former Hingham Resident Gets 4-5 Years in Prison for Attempted Weymouth Gas Station Robbery
Jeramie Goodfellow pleaded guilty to assaulting a gas station attendant in a November incident.

A South Shore man accused of attacking a gas station clerk in Weymouth has pleaded guilty to assault charges.
Jeramie Goodfellow, 40, of Hingham at the time of the incident, was sentenced to 4-5 years in prison and two years probation on Monday according to the Norfolk County D.A.’s office.
In November 2014, Goodfellow attempted to rob Rooney’s gas station on Main Street in Weymouth, attacking the attendant with a knife according to the Boston Globe. A customer at the station defended the attendant by using a baseball bat from his car on Goodfellow.

Both the attendant and Goodfellow were taken to South Shore Hospital with injuries. Goodfellow was arraigned from his hospital bed the day after the incident.
