GRAY HAIR

GRAY HAIR

Age and beauty go together,
at least it does for men.
Most people think this is not true,
because they want to think back when.

God made it very clear,
beauty is old men is gray hair.*
You may want to argue with God,
but for me I will not go there.

I accept His proclamation of my beauty,
gray hair I gladly see.
It's just hard to fathom,
when I look in a mirror, can this really be me?

It's not the lines and wrinkles,
that makes me stop and stare.
But God's Word is always true,
my beauty is in my gray hair.

I know some men are jealous,
but I do not need to go there.
I wonder though, where is their beauty?
Those men that have no hair.
