The Green Light Hingham Announces New Ownership & Mission

From the Mooring Advisory Group: Local leading juice bar and wellness organization, The Green Light Hingham, has confirmed new ownership with a strategic vision for its neighboring community. Brother-sister duo, Shawn McCormick and Sheree Nigro formerly managed the Green Light Cohasset, then purchased the juice bar on September 2, 2016.

Sheree’s mission in life is to help others. She was initially in the process of obtaining a nursing degree while helping her brother Shawn at The Green Light Cohasset. After a short amount of time, she came to the realization that she could educate the community on the power of wellness through her new store venture in Hingham.

Shawn’s passion for wellness stemmed from the birth of his daughter, when he recognized his own lack of nutritional understanding, and the importance of educating his family on health-related best practices.

Shawn McCormick, Owner & Operator of The Green Light Hingham commented, “I was amazed when I learned about the enormous impact of how our food choices affect our health, the environment and animals we share the planet with. For me, this was life-changing. I had to follow my heart…I now had a new purpose in life, and we’re thrilled to share our passion for wellness with the local community through our products.”

The announcement promises exciting changes for the new family-owned business, where the #1 focus is to deliver top notch wellness products paired with an unforgettable customer experience. The primary goal is to have the store be a “Light in the Square”—a fun, positive and upbeat stop to grab your favorite juice, smoothie, snack or cleanse off the menu, and walk away feeling fulfilled and motivated to conquer the rest of your day.
