Head-On Collision In Rockland: 3 Hospitalized, 2 Critical
Firefighters found the two cars, both with heavy front-end damage, with two victims trapped inside.
ROCKLAND, MA — A head-on crash on Market Street hospitalized three people on Sunday. Firefighters said two of them were in critical condition.
Firefighters arriving about 5:20 p.m. said they found the two cars, both with heavy front-end damage, with two victims trapped inside. Firefighters had to extricate the victims from the cars.
One of the cars had crossed the center line into the other lane, where it collided with the second car, firefighters told the Patriot Ledger.

According to the Rockland Fire Department, a third victim was hurt, but the njuries were not considered life-threatening. All three victims were taken to South Shore Hospital. One of the victims was then transported to Boston for more extensive care.

The victims have not been identified.
