Help Name New Hingham Water Company

HINGHAM – Hingham wants to know what residents want to call their very own water company. As the town prepares to own the water company operated by Aquarion Water Company, a new name is needed for the company that services Hingham, Hull and a portion of North Cohasset.

The Water Company Transition and Evaluation Committee is accepting name nominations through Dec. 2. Recommendations can be submitted electronically, in-person and at the Hingham, Hull and Cohasset Town Clerk’s Office, or by mail to: Hingham Board of Selectmen, 210 Central Street, Hingham MA 02043.

The Transition and Evaluation Committee will recommend possible names to the Water Commissioners, who will make a final decision in early January.
