Hingham Asian Restaurant Transforms Into Gourmet Garden
Gourmet Garden, formerly know as Asian C, now offers more choices and healthier dishes. The Route 53 restaurant also offers an "All You Can Eat" buffet, jazz music, and karaoke, and a new website where customers can order online.
Hingham’s on Route 53 changed their name and menu and is now Gourmet Garden.
The Asian restaurant on Route 53, which serves organic Chinese and Japanese cuisine doesn’t just have a new name, but it has a healthier menu with no MSG and no trans fat in their dishes.
Gourmet Garden also offers one of the best varieties of lunch options in Hingham with an "All You Can Eat" lunch buffet for around $9. The buffet, which is served on Wednesday through Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. offers a variety of cooked and raw sushi, a sample of fruits and vegetables, soups, chicken wings and chicken fingers, spare ribs, crab Rangoon’s, rices and lo meins and all your favorite Japanese and Chinese food plates- and the best part is you can keep going up for more.

Gourmet Garden's staff said they have kept the same ownership but the idea of the name change is to give the restaurant a new look while offering more choices.
The Hingham Asian restaurant, which right across from the and on Route 53, is also a hot spot to spend your weekend night. The restaurant has a large bar area with televisions, and on Friday nights, they offer live jazz music from 9 p.m. to midnight and have a Karaoke DJ on Saturday from 9 to midnight.
