Hingham Boys' Lax Player Named Boston Globe All-Scholastic, Coach Named D2 Coach of the Year

Two members of the Harbormen boys' lacrosse team were honored by the Boston Globe.

Hingham, MA — A Hingham student-athlete and a coach were recently honored by the Boston Globe.

Sunday, junior attacker Marc O’Rourke was named a member of the All-Scholastic lacrosse team and John Todd was named the Division 2 Coach of the Year.

In addition to the most recent honor, O’Rourke was also named an Eastern Mass. All-American and Patriot League All-Star twice. He has committed to Bryant University.

This season, Todd became the state’s winningest boys’ lacrosse coach and now has 409 wins.

This year, the team went 21-5 and appeared in the Division 2 championship game.
