Hingham Business Donates $150,000 in Strollers on the Today Show

Lauren and Bob Monahan, the founders of UPPAbaby appeared on NBC's Today Show this week.

It will be a better than expected Christmas for some families in need with young children, thanks to a Hingham business.

Appearing on the Today Show Monday morning, Lauren and Bob Monahan, founders of UPPAbaby, announced they were donating over $150,000 worth of G-LUXE and CRUZ strollers as part of the Today Holiday Toy Drive.

“We love to be able to support families in need and provide them with a safe mode of transportation,” Lauren Monahan said on the show.

This is the fourth year in a row the Hingham-based company has participated in the toy drive as part of their UPPA Gives Back initiative. To date, UPPAbaby has donated over $750,00 worth of gear to families in need.

Overall, the Today Holiday Toy Drive has received $17 million in gifts and toys for children in need.
