Hingham Girls' Tennis Defeat Scituate to Win Division 2 South Title
The girls' tennis team has advanced to Division 2 State Finals which will be played Tuesday.

The Hingham High School girls’ tennis team defeated their cross-town rival Scituate, 3-2 on Sunday to win the Division 2 South Sectional title.
With a singles win from Emma Alderman and doubles victories by Maxine Bergstein and Delaney Dunlap and Nikki Lund and Ashland Stansbury, Hingham will now advance to the Division 2 Finals on Tuesday.
In first singles,Alderman from Hingham, defeated Nikki Lazaris of Scituate 6-0, 6-0.
In second singles, Tess Malerbi from Scituate defeated Danielle Vanzura from Hingham 6-4, 6-0.
In third singles, Coleen ford of Scituate defeated Laura Hern from Hingham 6-3, 6-3.
In first doubles, Bergstein and Dunlap from Hingham, defeated Roisin Sullivan and Emily Richard from Scituate 6-2, 6-3.
In second doubles, Lund and Stansbury from Hingham, defeated Caroline Kiddie and Casey White from Scituate 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Hingham will now play Concord- Carlisle on Tuesday June 11th at 4:00 in the Division 2 State Finals.
