Hingham High All Alumni Reunion is This Weekend
Over 500 Hingham High Alumni will be attending this once in a lifetime event with Classes ranging from 1929-2010.
The is this weekend August 13 at the Marriott in Quincy, MA from 7:30 pm – 12:30 am.
Over 500 Hingham High Alumni will be attending this once in a lifetime event with Classes ranging from 1929-2010.
Alumni from as far away as London and Alaska are flying in to attend, so it is truly a world wide event.
The event is run by the All Alumni Hingham High School Reunion Committee, named "The Alumni Wizards," made up of several alumni including Rob Thornton, '76; Stacey McNamee, '82; Nick Roundtree, '74; and Lauri Remes Byer,'74. The Committee has been organizing the reunion since last September.
Together the “Alumni Wizards” have created a Facebook page last summer where graduates can submit old high school photos. They have been running the HHS alumni website since 2001 and since that time, many classes have asked about organizing one big Alumni event.

“This is an all-alumni reunion for everyone who ever graduated from ,” said Thornton. “We plan to have a lot of Hingham events set up.”
The Alumni Wizards said the guests vary in ages and some family are coming together.

“We have some coming who had the grandfather graduating in 53’ the son graduating in 73’ and [his] kids graduating in 93’,” Thornton said.
The reunion will have a Decade Bulletin Board set up and Alumni are asked to bring old photographs that they can post on these bulletin board. The Alumni Wizards are currently in the process of digitizing all of the yearbooks at the which they will present at the event.
Dr. Dorothy Galo will be the Guest of honor and is a Hingham High Alumni herself.
There will be live entertainment, a free photo booth, cocktail food and more Hingham High Alumni then you’ve ever seen in one location ever.
You’ll definitely do not want to miss this event.
