Hingham High Could Receive Sports Facility Upgrade

About $25,000 has been allocated to look at the possibility of renovating or adding space.

A health and wellness center could become a reality at Hingham High School.

Superintendent Dorothy Galo recently told the Boston Globe that $25,000 has been allocated for engineering services to consider the feasibility of renovating existing athletic space, adding space, or a combination of both options. Funding for the study will come from this year’s capital budget.

Galo called the current space, “totally inadequate in terms of size, equipment, storage space, and condition.”
