Hingham Home Break-In, Jewelry Taken: Police Looking For Suspects

A kid who lived in the Gardner Street house came home from school and saw the backdoor was kicked in.

HINGHAM, MA — Police are trying to find a burglary suspect after cash, jewelry, and electronic devices were reported stolen from a house on Gardner Street.

On Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., police said a kid who lived in the Gardner Street house came home from school and saw the backdoor was kicked in. The student did not got inside and instead, ran to a neighbor's house to called police and family.

According to police, several officers, including a K-9 unit, searched the house and confirmed the suspects were no longer in the house.

Police said they believe the break-in happened between 10:45 a.m., and 2:30 p.m. A marked vehicle is believed to have been in the driveway at that time.
