Hingham Library: Do Not Use Book Drops During Storm

The Hingham Library will be closed on Monday due to the arrival of Hurricane Sandy and residents will be allowed to return due materials a day later without being fined.

While the library is closed, Director Dennis R. Corcoran is asking residents to not use the book drop.

"We encourage you not to travel on Monday," Corcoran said in an email to library users on Sunday night.  "Stay safe."

Corcoran said all books and other library material due on Monday may be returned on Tuesday without incurring a fine.

With the storm expected to last until Tuesday, check the library website for changes in schedule.
