On Saturday, June 23, the Hingham Little League held its All-Star event. First up was the All-Star game for the minor league. The game, a close contest between the Southern and Eastern leagues, ended in a tie. Following the game was the Golden Arm competition, in which select players attempted a throw from center field to home plate, and the Road Runner challenge, in which players raced around the bases for the best time. Later in the day was the Major League Home Run Derby and that league's All-Star Game.
